Found via another forum, but had to share, Walmart in the U.S. is selling the super deluxe cd set for $81 (came out to 89 with tax for me) An amazing deal for anyone that might be on the fence about this set!

Had this on a wish list for a only 10% discount at another seller. This amounts to a 66% discount!
What a gift to John & Yoko fans!

Fingers crossed that Walmart honors this price.
They offered a similar discount last month on Talking Heads More Songs About Buildings & Food Deluxe box.
There was some drama & confusion around that deal, my original pre-order was canceled, but after two weeks it came back into stock and I was able to order one at the discount.
It is now back up to near list price.

Moral of the story, don't sleep on this deal if you want one, be patient, and hope Instant Karma lets us All Shine On!

While the corporate drones of the giant box store chain generate some good karma for themselves by getting these out into the world without making an exorbitant profit.

Not to be Johnny Raincloud here but how can a retailer legitimately offer what amounts to a clearance price for a new product and make any money? 66% discount? Something isn’t right. I’m hanging on to my Amazon order. But in case it is legit, good for those who got it! I’m more likely to wait until after the Labor Day Holiday here in the U.S. to see how this all shakes out. Even at that price, it’s way more than a usual Labor Day Sale.

But I’m tempted….
