🔴 POWER THE PEOPLE - Deluxe Box Set - Unboxing Video

As per every box set we have done, the book that accompanies the box set only addresses the music that exists within the box set.

Next year's Thames and Hudson expanded biography about this time period will address every song from the concert, the 1972 Sometime in New York City album in its entirety, including the single from the album and all the controversy that surrounded it at the time - in all its historical context.

So there will be a separate book covering the 1972 period like the Imagine/Plastic Ono Band/Mind Games books? This is news to me, and it's excellent news.

This is tremendous news, I was hoping there would be a book but given this release is a little, um, different shall we say, I thought we might not get one. I should have known better 😉

Wonderful news 👏🏻🔥 getting expanded biographies is always one of my favorite part of the releases!

Fantastic, the books are arguably my favourite part of these releases (although I still need to pick up the Mind Games one, I'll do it at some point!). Great to hear this release will make sure the gap is filled for the books too :)

Thank you @Good Dog Nigel for the news that, as there has been for all the other individual album releases, there will be a stand-alone book covering the Power To The People/NYC era. Looking forward to it!

CANNOT wait to read! 😁

I think the decision to remove the song Woman Is The N was wrong. I think maybe they shouldn't make it public, posting the new versions on youtube and streams, but in the physical box for fans to enjoy they should make it available because it's a beautiful and important song.
