MIND GAMES EDITION OB-4​

Teenage Engineering are proud to announce the release of the John Lennon Mind Games Edition OB–4. This special edition of their high-fidelity bluetooth loudspeaker and radio was developed in collaboration with Sean Ono Lennon.

The OB–4 comes with a custom design inspired by the artwork of John Lennon’s Mind Games album and contains all 6 albums from Mind Games (The Ultimate Collection), Bonus Tracks, The Meditation Mixes and The Mantras. Plus additional OB-4 listening features like Ambient Mode and Looping.

Sean Ono Lennon: “I’ve been a massive fan of Teenage Engineering since they first announced the OP-1 at NAMM in 2010. I have been thrilled to watch the company evolve into the world’s most fascinating musical design team. It is a dream come true to be able to collaborate with the Mind Games OB–4 speaker. The idea of gamifying Mind Games has manifested as an incredible limited edition speaker and radio that will allow you to modify this classic John Lennon album in Ambient Mode in a way that’s never been done. I truly can’t wait for people to try it!”

In this edition of the OB–4, the Disk Mode comes pre-loaded with Mind Games – The Ultimate Collection – 6 newly remixed and extended versions of the Mind Games album, plus 9 Meditation Mixes of ‘Mind Games’, along with an exclusive new Metronome and 9 Mantras.

The unique integration of Lennon’s work and new sonic elements allows users to experience his music in an immersive and innovative way. Teenage Engineering has previously teamed up with the late Virgil Abloh to create the OB–4 Off-White edition, which featured the traditional Gyil music of Ghanaian artist Sk Kakraba in the OB–4’s disk mode.


The OB-4 is a portable bluetooth speaker with a unique feature — the ability to rewind, loop, and fast-forward live audio, whether it’s from radio, bluetooth or Line-In. The OB–4 delivers high-fidelity stereo sound, with an impressive 72-hour battery life. The OB–4 offers an innovative, creative approach to listening on-the-go. This OB-4 will have the unique ability to turn on Ambient Mode on all albums.

This Special Edition OB–4 will be produced in a limited run, with pre-orders starting from today, Oct 9 and ends Oct 31 or when sold out.

Teenage Engineering se enorgullece de anunciar el lanzamiento del OB-4 John Lennon Mind Games Edition. Esta edición especial de su altavoz y radio Bluetooth de alta fidelidad fue desarrollada en colaboración con Sean Ono Lennon .

El OB-4 viene con un diseño personalizado inspirado en la obra de arte del álbum Mind Games de John Lennon y contiene los 6 álbumes de Mind Games (The Ultimate Collection), Bonus Tracks, The Meditation Mixes y The Mantras. Además, incluye funciones de escucha adicionales del OB-4 como Ambient Mode y Looping.

En esta edición del OB-4, el Modo Disco viene precargado con Mind Games – The Ultimate Collection : 6 versiones recientemente remezcladas y ampliadas del álbum Mind Games , además de 9 mezclas de meditación de 'Mind Games', junto con un nuevo metrónomo exclusivo y 9 mantras .

La integración única de la obra de Lennon y los nuevos elementos sonoros permite a los usuarios experimentar su música de una manera inmersiva e innovadora. Teenage Engineering se comprometió anteriormente con el fallecido Virgil Abloh para crear la edición Off-White del OB–4, que incluía la música tradicional Gyil del artista ghanés Sk Kakraba en el modo de disco del OB–4.
