The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan
The 1963 album cover for The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan features a photograph of Dylan with Suze Rotolo. It was taken in February 1963, a few weeks after Rotolo had returned from Italy, by CBS staff photographer Don Hunstein as Dylan and Rotolo walked in the middle of Jones Street, close to their sixty-bucks-a-month apartment, situated in the back of the 3rd floor of a four story block at 161 West 4th Street.
What other stories and locations do you like from The Village in the 60s and 70s?

Finally visited this street back in the Spring! There’s a record store on this street that has SO many copies of the album displayed. Café Wha? has become another favorite as well, they do a lot of events dedicated to the artists of that time, and the house band is FANTASTIC!! Do you have one of the John Lennon's Liverpool maps?I've been to NYC very briefly as an hour layover on a train trip to New Orleans! I didn't get into the city to sightsee, plus my anxiety may not have let me haha, but it'd be neat to see John and Yoko's New York some day!
I wish I did, GDN! I’ll have to check the price of one on John’s website (money is kind of tight, it’s a wonder I was able to get the meditation mixes haha) but I’d love that someday!Do you have one of the John Lennon's Liverpool maps?

I’m flattered GDN, but you don’t have to do that!I'll send you one.

I also don’t want anyone thinking it looks like I’m asking for free stuff you know?I'll send you one.

I just love them
I was lucky enough to visit NYC in 2002 when my brother lived there briefly. I got to see Strawberry Fields in Central Park. I definitely want to go back one day because I don’t have a lot of photos from my time there.I've been to NYC very briefly as an hour layover on a train trip to New Orleans! It was amazing. I have a tight budget so traveling isn’t something I can do right now, but I hope to be able to go back one day. That’s wild! Sounds like it was a good experience
