I think I've done quite well for someone who doesn't play many games getting as far as I have without any hints - but I have got completely stuck trying to...
... figure out what the code for the laundry room is! I have genuinely searched all over, and am aware there's probably something to do with bread that I'm also missing
Looking forward to the second disk but I'd like to finish the first at some point... maybe...

Have you seen any objects with curious markings on them? They may help *shape* your understanding. Once you've figured out each of the numbers, you'll need to go to the door and enter them in the right order. How do you know the right order? If you need another clue, you'll have to *weight* in line

Okay, okay, so that was helpful and I figured it out quickly after that - thank you!
However I'm here asking for another clue again, I promise that I try to only do this if I am really stuck (I haven't needed any hints before now, after all) and have tried almost everything and invariably the solution is something obvious that I took note of and proceeded to just ignore
I have a feeling I need to make bread in some way - I have what I assume are all of the ingredients, and the note from Yoko, but haven't figured out a way to actually use any of these things. I know there's an oven and a toaster (and a locked fridge, which I assume is linked to things collected?) and managed to wash John's clothes but again I don't actually know how to connect any of these things.

I haven't been able to pick up one of the items needed to bake bread , even after dropping other items. Is doing this task necessary to proceed in the game?
See if John didn’t pass out in the middle of the hallway, I’d be further along by now
I might just be seeing patterns where there aren’t any but what seems to work for me is to get the water working and then go to a tap or a shower - you can wake sleepy John up a bit more!See if John didn’t pass out in the middle of the hallway, I’d be further along by now

Oooof. I don't play games usually so this is tricky for me, one might say.... a ... MIND GAME. 
I have a towel in my inventory. I can find the wet Alice kitty cat who needs to be dried off... but I can't figure out how to get John to do it.
