Did you try using the "restore" command?

It's two words

I can't solve the mystery of the "two words" the kitchen door.
Is that the word "John put there" written in "Read first"?

Yeah, it doesn't work though. Everything runs smoothly, and then when I try to continue down the hallway it freezes and doesn't let me type anything else.

Hello to anybody who'll read this. Yesterday I played again to not forget the different moves in case there's new stuff coming. I finished the game again but it won't let me restore so I can explore again. Not a big deal but I wanted to say it in case it was some sort of bug or something.
Speaking of bug: while playing, the text has this little picture thing sometimes between letters, harmless but funny.

I'm having the same issue...does the game require players to do things in a particular sequence?? Would I have to restart for the "two words" to unlock the kitchen, or should it work??

I was having the same issue until I used specific words...consider if you could move in another direction besides "north." If it's glitching you can also try typing "restore."

Could someone explain the point system?? There's a certain object I want to pick up, but when I try to the game says I do not have enough points.

I was also curious if the game has to be completed in a particular, linear sequence, or if you can work through it in a nonlinear way??

Are stamps supposed to show up in your inventory? Cause mine won't show up but everytime I get something wrong in the game it reminds me I have been awarded the only sleeping stamp. AND I haven't been able to get out of bed

Once you figure out how to get out of bed this should be resolved. You can always type 'restore,' and read through this forum for clues on what item John would need first
