Ummm, I don't want to say too much! There is someone who is hard to understand (and I get what this person is doing, I just don't know how to respond) and then a pachyderm in search of something. I can't figure out how to accomplish either of their needs.

Could someone gently (or privately) let me know if I need to restart to end the forward trek of sorts? Thinking a couple commands were done out of order but hoping not to lose much (if any) progress.

There's a part of my game that every time I enter it, it goes back to it. No matter how far I advance. When I close and open it, it goes back to the same part and I lose what I did after that. Is this normal?

I don't think you can avoid losing progress to escape.
