Welcome to Nutopia!!Hi Everyone! Fellow Lennonians! I'm a musician from Dallas Texas currently living and performing in Austin. The Beatles became a BIG (the biggest) influence on me as a 3 or 4 year boy (possibly even earlier) when I heard 'I am the Walrus' and made my mom play the song over and over and over. I remember the moment. It remains a fave to this day. I also latched onto the Yellow Submarine and Help movies very young before age 5. I have a belief that my mom who saw the Beatles in Dallas at age 14 (she had me age 17) was listening to the new Beatles album at the time Magical Mystery Tour which came out a week or so before I was born and that it had a major lasting impact on me from hearing it in the womb. The Beatles and John Lennon have been with me my whole life, the good and the bad and has helped me through troubled times.. I don't know where id be without them. I never met John but I met Sean at a Plastic Ono Band gig in a club in Austin. He was very cool to me and told me to hang around and that mom was coming later! We were told not to approach Yoko , which was understandable, and I respected. She walked right past me and I flashed her the peace sign , she looked at me and smiled and flashed it back! A life highlight for me! I also saw The Radio City Music Hall show with Ringo, Paul and Yoko! I was able to wish Ringo "Happy Birthday Ringo we love you man!" and pat him on the back earlier that day as it was his 70th ..And Paul once acknowledged me from the stage when I was holding a 'PEACE THROUGH MUSIC' bumper sticker I bought outside. Linda nudged him to show him and he gave me the thumbs up! Anyway I ramble on, I could go on about Lennon and The Beatles forever! Favorite song ' A Day in The Life'...It cannot be topped!
PEACE LOVE & MUSIC![]()
