🟡 POWER TO THE PEOPLE - The One To One Concerts live at Madison Square Garden - 30 Aug 1972

@Mariana Fraga @Good Dog Nigel @Skylar Moody I'm incredibly happy and excited, what I've been waiting to hear, I've listened to Could Turkey several times at most. Extremely rock n roll , this show is the apex of rock n roll . I love Elephants Memory with John. John did very few shows, but the shows he did were memorable and rock n roll. The Toronto Peace Festival, Fillmore East, the legendary Madison Square Garden shows with the wonderful Plastic Ono Elephants Memory Band, the fantastic and apotheotic performance with Sir Elton John playing Whatever Gets You Through the Night, and the breathtaking versions of I Saw Her Standing There and Lucy and Sky With Diamonds, and finally Salute To Lew Grade playing rock classics Slippin' and Slidin , Stand By Me and the rock prayer IMAGINE in a passionate version, I can only imagine if he had played Slippin' and Slidin at Madison Square Garden live with Elephants Memory, imagining him playing it in stadiums today. But he touches our hearts and our rebellion. Every time we turn on our stereo. Long live rock, long live the Beatles, long live John, George, Ringo, long live the Elephants Memory Band, long live Yoko, her partner and her poetry.

I knew you'd be really excited about this! ☺️ I'm very happy too. And about the doc One to One Concert, GDN told me that it's likely that it will be available in October on HBO Max for us Brazilians too!

There's no chance of it being shown in IMAX cinemas in Brazil ???? This show with surround sound technology would be surreal and insane.

@Good Dog Nigel @Sean PLEASE see the legendary concerts that Ringo and Paul played in Brazil, Brazil is a stronghold for Beatlemaniacs. Please find a way to show this documentary One To One and Borrowed Time in Brazilian cinemas. At least some theaters. The global broadcast of Concert for George was shown in just one day and filled the theater.
