who’s your Beatles bias?

John and George, if you mean our favorite band members. But if you mean what's my bias about The Beatles: I think The Beatles were one of the most influential bands of the early 1960s. They were inspired by so many different musicians, most of whom from America were black ( if I recall correctly), and as a pop rock band inspired many other musicians during the 60s and into the rest of the last century. I also believe The Beatles continue to inspire musicians and other kinds of people to this day, hence this forum and the whole of our basis for Nutopia. I'd argue that without the other three Beatles in John's life or without his meeting Yoko Ono, we wouldn't have the conceptual nation of Nutopia or even the John Lennon we know and love. Many people tend to think they're overrated, but I think they're appropriately praised.

I love them all, am a fan of all... but I became a fan because of John and that will always be. The excitement I still feel in my heart when there is new John product imminent rivals that of the Beatles themselves. And when it is a group release, it's John's stuff I look forward to most.

Agreed completely and excellently said! Any new opportunity to hear John composing, playing, having fun - or all of the above at once - is an absolute pleasure that elevates the concept of 'joy' to a new level!
