What do you do outside of John and Yoko?

John and the Beatles are my absolute favorite hobby and I spend a lot of my time writing and researching about them. But in my "real" life I am a reading specialist. I taught reading to elementary school students for 20 years. For the past year and a half I have been working for a company that coaches reading teachers around the United States. So I travel all around the country, working in schools with teachers to help them become better reading teachers.

I have a lot of other passions and I collect a lot of silly things (such as Strawberry Shortcake dolls).

I'm in kindergarten as nanny or kindergarten teacher helper(idk how explain correctly ) kids is very interesting especially when they dream and do their fantasy, it's easier for them because they're open for anything new as well ❤

I work as a professional musician. I do studio work, playing whatever instrument and/part they need. I also write, record and play all the instruments for my own material... and I'm a proud BMI artist. As a side note, I can play just about every Beatles song, on any given instrument, haha. A rule of thumb for me when I play live, is to always include 1 Beatles cover. For a while I was doing an acoustic cover of "I am The Walrus"... A video clip even caught the attention of Geoff Emerick before he passed.

that’s amazing!!! I currently work as an engineer for an MEP consulting firm. I help reduce energy costs for public entities - schools and hospitals etc and provide assistance with the start up of projects like solar pv systems, upgrading hvac etc. my other hobbies which are few include watching tv shows (my favs currently are severance and pachinko), taking care of my indoor plant collection, and collecting records/visiting the record store. I do love the Beatles a lot and they are my main hobby but that’s a slice of my real life lol

I’m musician.
I play in a variety of projects: McCartney The Musical (keyboards/percussion), Led Legacy (bass/keyboards), My Generation (keyboards) and The Beach Boomers (drums/vocals). Also play bass with a jazz singer called Mabi, and sometimes with Creedence 4Ever (bass/guitar).

Also a solo artist with one album (called Awakening), 10 singles and will release my second album in October.

Finally I’m a digital content creator posting videos about musical curiosities, plagiarism and also records bass covers.

I worked in accounting for many years and am now retired which allows me to have much more time to pursue my main interest, John & Yoko and all things Beatles! Also into art (drawing and painting), guitars and reading. I have a pretty extensive Beatles library. So many books, so little time!

I work for a brain health supplement company. You can find me listening to Green Day, CCR and Yellowcard. I also play Pokémon Go because my co workers got me into it during COVID. I’m not even a fan of the cards or series lol. I just enjoy catching the cute little Pokemon.

I have a degree in library science, but I'm not working at the moment. I'm studying to pass a public exam in that field. I love reading, writing poems, and blogging about books. I also love listening to music. The Beatles are what I listen to the most. The Beatles are what brings me comfort when I'm tired or in difficult times. I love listening to the Beatles, reading about the Beatles, and watching videos about the Beatles.

Hi All,

When I am not on this board I am working at a campground. (I have a bachelors degree in biology).
After losing all my life’s possessions: my homes, my savings, photos, everything, due to corruption in my state, I have had to start over with nothing. I found a job at a RV park and I do chores from cleaning to office duties to being co-manager of the park. I have 6 indoor cats that I brought here with me, and 4 feral cats that I take care of outdoors that live at the campground. I also love to watch wildlife. Deer, raccoons, opossums, bobcats, etc…
I came back to my town, after my Mom died. I became a political activist. I was arrested after non-violently protesting. I was trying to bring attention to the deprivation of civil/human rights that affected my Mom and myself and others in our community. I spent 365 days in federal custody. I am now a convicted felon.
After being released from custody I tried to take my cases into the courts, as I had done before my arrest, to get my possessions back and get justice. I was denied at every turn and refused reasonable accommodations for my autism. So now everything is gone forever. I can never go back home again. I don’t know what will happen from day to day, but music has always been my constant friend, and that’s all that is true in my life now. Peace and Love!
