What a spirited live version, and bravo to John for singing a Paul song!

Yes! It's a great version! Almost makes one wish there could have been a few more "John takes on Paul songs"! "Oh! Darling" comes to mind.

This morning I'm listening to this David Bowie EP of previously unreleased performances from the Hours campaign

In celebration of that fact, Parlophone will issue the LIVE FROM THE MANHATTAN CENTER ’99 DIGITAL EP which features three previously unreleased live tracks recorded for the U.K. TV show Top Of The Pops but not broadcast at the time.

The songs were taped on 21st August, two days before VH1 Storytellers was recorded in the same building (The Manhattan Center) but not in the same studio. [source]

I do enjoy a lot of thier songs too! Some of my favorites are more of the deep tracks, specifically from this album (Morrison Hotel), "Waiting For the Sun" which has one of my favorite lines they wrote, "This is the strangest life I've ever known".
"Queen of the Highway" and "Indian Summer" are great too!
