Spam has arrived

It was just a matter of time before Spam came into our happy little Nutopia. It makes me a little sad -- I liked to think of this as a safe place away from all that junk. Please be aware of any scams and/or people asking for money. In Nutopia we don't use real money, right?

Are you aware of the Report link and the lower left corner of every post?
The only way to clean up spam is to report it the instant you see it.



Then leave it to the moderators, who deserve our continuous thanks and praise.

Unfortunately, these posts have been infrequently intermittent since the beginning of the forum. Thankfully, our wonderful admin team has been on top of it. I've reported every spam post I've seen since joining here, and every post was promptly removed after the report - usually in a matter of minutes!

Definitely a notable increase in the last few days (and now within existing threads, not just the creation of new threads). Hopefully the relevant posts will be removed soon

Report if you can and don’t interact! I wish there was a way to filter it out when people sign up
