Just heard on the radio that BBC DJ Andy Peebles who interviewed John & Yoko in 1980 has passed away. Met him a few years ago at International Beatle Week and got my CD of the interview signed.

Very sad to hear this news last night, Andy's interview with them is so excellent and by far one of the most enjoyable, candid, and fun interviews we have with them. What a blessing it was this happened so it's always there to return to, as they reflected on their entire past together and looked to what should have been a long and wonderful future. Godspeed, Andy!
