Photo Question - memory playing tricks.

Hi. Hope someone can solve this.
My dad had the single Watching The Wheels, and as a kid I remember it well and listened to it a lot. When I google it, the image on the single is always John and Yoko leaving the hotel.

But in my head, I remember the photo had the back or front of a car, you can see the wheel and then maybe a doorway in the background (or step) and maybe or maybe not someone sitting there or walking past. It was an American style car/wheel and I think it was blue.

Does anyone know this photo? My dad remembers it being an American car, but unfortunately sold all his vinyl years ago.

Hope someone can help.

I believe that by your description this is the one. John’s is supposedly in front of a Beetle, but this is a fake photo. The original one has no car and John’s in NYC



The fake one is used and believed to be real by many to these days.

Thank you Mariana. It’s not too dissimilar, but unfortunately it’s not the one. It’s a colour photo with back end of the car (likely a saloon type car) leaving the shot to the right, with I think a woman or couple walking towards the left. The shot is slightly blurred for the sense of motion. ​

Hmm, I see! Did John and/or Yoko appear in it or was it just a random photo?

Unless the person/people walking are John and Yoko, it seems to be a random photo… the people are slightly blurred with movement.

Hmm, now that's a hard one! I don't really remember seeing a photo like that associated to Watching the Wheels but I'm gonna think a bit more about it
