I didn’t pick this up at first, as I thought it was a multi-artist retrospective, but it just turns out that the collaborators and authors are given an unusually high billing on the cover.

Seeing it posted here prompted me to get it. It does seem pretty definitive from the short time I’ve spent with it. There’s also a nice timeline at the back.

Here it is on the shelf, it’s understated, not as big and sturdy as the Lennon album books. I do think they could have stretched to hardback.
