Hi, everybody! My copy of the Mind Games standalone book arrived yesterday but as it was such an emotional moment - I had been waiting and talking about this book for a long time - I became very tired in a blink of an eye (autistic people when they get something related to their special interest, you know!) Because of that I only took a quick look at it but already saw how AMAZING it is! Later today I'll finally start reading it and sharing with you guys my own thoughts!

By the way, I cannot not thank the John Lennon Estate for the brilliant gift! Both Yoko and Sean are wonderfully taking care of everything John related, I feel very honored to see it all happening and now have this beautiful book with me too. The love for John is palpable in everything!

@Good Dog Nigel once again, I'm forever grateful to you! Thank you for making my year this happy and thank you for being here with us! Congratulations on another masterpiece of a book

The book JOHN & YOKO MIND GAMES: Thames & Hudson shows the magic that Mind Games is. It's not just a cool album with good music, it's something which was John and Yoko's life. And reading the entire context in which the album was born shows how Sean and Estate knew how to maintain what John liked. Seeing what John thought, why he thought it and how he conveyed it in his art is beautiful to see and experience now, with all Nutopia, meditation, the union of the fandom... This what Mind Games serves beyond the sound. Being able to be immersive in this way brings us closer to the couple and their lives at time, to the ART of Ono and Lennon.

the collages of John's diaries where he showed his opinions and the reasons why, I've never seen anything like that before and if we have that in every album... My God! How incredible to see this.

exactly, the Estate's whole team really understood what John said and felt, and they put all of it in this new construction of the album. They not only understood what John meant to do and did musically but also when it came to understanding his mindset at the time and they brought it into today's reality with perfection.

I can’t wait to start sharing more of my thoughts! The first thing I dove into was the floor plan of The Dakota. I NEVER knew how huge their apartment was! Now it’s a bit easier to picture everything, but I love the names John chose for each room. Especially “Hope” for Sean
