I never found a way out of the corridor other than restarting and then not going that way again when I replayed.

Update: I retract my statement-- there is a way!

Are you on disk one or two? I usually use ‘ look for ‘ and then add in the item I want to look for.

I think you are saying you restarted but without going through all of the steps, you are back in the corridor. That also happened to me. To truly restart I also had to refresh my browser.

Hey everyone! Loved disc one. Currently on disc two! I have been investigating the room thoroughly and cannot seem to advance in the game. I tried doing certain things without success, but im not sure it it is ok or if the game is stuck:
I tried playing the piano with different prompts but all the game says is "try playing something". Also, in the bathroom, it says that there is a mysterious bag, but when I try grabbing it, inspecting it or opening it it says that there is no bag in the room.

Could anyone tell me if this is supposed to happen and/or give me a little clue? Thanks! Peace

I encountered the same issues. Sometimes I could get the bag to appear but other times I could not. I eventually just started to use the command "get _______" when I knew what I needed from previous attempts but couldn't seem to trigger the right sequence. Same thing with a certain box.

A few times I was able to examine the piano and get a nice description but otherwise, I could never manage to put a command together that ended with my successfully playing anything other than a bunch of noise. I was able to finish disk 2 nonetheless.

Yes, I have successfully triggered the bag sequence! However, other times, I would do the same thing and not be successful, or the bag would appear but when I said examine bag it would say there does not appear to be a bag here (but get _____ still worked, regardless!).

Yeah I had the same issue with the bag when it appeared. It would tell me no bag existed. I don’t believe you need what’s in the bag to progress though so that’s good.

The clue on the fan mail is for a different part of the game when you get to another location. For the piano, think about what letters of the alphabet represent musical notes, and whether there’s any words you can make from them that might be relevant. If you use the
pen that’s on the desk with the fan mail you might get another clue for what notes to play!
