@Good Dog Nigel — is there a way to retrieve cached progress on Disk One? I’ve had to restart countless times the last few months after getting quite far (successfully drinking coffee, exploring whole length of hallway, not falling in chest) — just disappointing to make it so far and lose all that progress, especially after learning about the mail-outs

I'm having the same type of issue! I've been trying to play this game off and on for a few months but keep getting soft locked, it seems to trigger often in the hallway after opening the door and trying to proceed down it , and I have to start all over again. Also frustrating knowing it means I missed out on mail-outs since I've been getting no points this whole time!

Edit: I just tried it again, got over 1000 points and the game is soft locked again as soon as I enter the hallway. The game freezes, no longer allows me to type anything, and when I refresh and restore as soon as I type anything and submit it locks again.

I assume it has to do with the weight of items with shapes on them. I thought it would be 4193 or 3914, for square circle nine-sider and triangle, weighing 1kg, 1.5kg, 2kg, and 9kg. Have i gotten mixed up somewhere? I feel like this is the way. Any hint would be greatly appreciated.

You got all of the numbers except one of them - what number does a circle look like? You already have the correct order, just not all of the correct numbers.

I think that’s the worst place to be stuck in I never managed to get out, but according to GDN the song that starts playing once you enter the chest - I’m don’t remember which song it’s now for sure, sorry - has a tip about how to get out.
