We’re just sitting here watching the wheels go round & round…Me waiting for the game to come back to life:View attachment 2564
You are John Lennon.I'm interested to play. I played a bit the other day, but I think it was bugged during my time with it. I used to play 1980s text adventures, so this seems very cozy to me. Can somebody tell me, if it's not considered a spoiler, do you play as John Lennon or as yourself?
Escape rooms are fun!Randomly remembered that Sean loves escape rooms so he kinda built his own! Was he hinting something all this time and we didn’t realize…?

LET'S GOOOOOOYES!!! So ready to hop back into this.
Here’s what our friend GDN said about the songs:Thanks and praise to the team for getting the game started again.
I have a question for the group about Spotify.
Is the music from Spotify merely an enhancement to the atmosphere of the game environment, or are there clues and hints I would be missing by playing the game in silence?
I signed up for a free Spotify account, but have never heard any music playing the game.
No matter how many times I use the connect spotify command, as soon as I get to the move early in the game where apparently I should hear something playing, I get an error message.
Could someone kindly describe, under a
as appropriate, the first music you hear and how it continues as the game progresses?spoiler
Any help or hints within the bounds of non-disclosure agreements and best forum manners would be appreciated.
Feel free to contact me privately if in doubt.
I was ten years old when the Beatles were on Ed Sullivan, so I'm well over 70, and I could use some help from you folks you grew up with smart phones from childhood.
I have never used Spotify, as I have ethical issues with its corporate practices, and it has no Atmos capabiliity.
I am playing the game on an 8-year-old desktop iMac in the Safari browser app.
Peace, out.
The music from Spotify is the soundtrack to the game. It's both an enhancement and a source of clues. You need a paid subscription for it to work properly. If you are having problems getting it to connect or work properly, please type:Thanks and praise to the team for getting the game started again.

Thanks for the reply. The music from Spotify is the soundtrack to the game. It's both an enhancement and a source of clues. You need a subscription for it to work properly. If you are having problems getting it to connect or work properly, please type:
connect spotify
you need a *paid* subscription for it to function correctly. Sorry if this was unclear. Thanks for the reply.
If it's a source of clues, I guess it's worth continuing to troubleshoot, but maybe you should direct me to a help desk.
It is rapidly becoming more trouble than it is worth to me.
Once again:
I signed up for a basic free spotify subscription. Do I need to pay $12 a month for an ad-free subscription to play the game?
I have the app running in a window.

On my Apple desktop computer, in the Safari browser, one move into the game, I get this screen:

Typing "connect spotify" at this point restarts the game and sends me back to this screen:

It's like groundhog day. Endless loop.
I'm having fun and some success, without whatever "sonic clues" I may be missing.
Carry on.
Perhaps there is no north to go from that point. Try going to a different one insteadI hope this doesn't count as a spoiler, but. sometimes it's hard to get a command exactly right I can't figure out how to go to the north side of the hallway when I'm in the south side, can anyone help?? Is there a specific thing you're supposed to say or am I missing something?
If the descriptions in the hallways seem to be a bit unclear, there may be something you need to do first, before going further north, to wake yourself up a bit.I hope this doesn't count as a spoiler, but. sometimes it's hard to get a command exactly right I can't figure out how to go to the north side of the hallway when I'm in the south side, can anyone help?? Thanks for this info. I was having the same problem.you need a *paid* subscription for it to function correctly. Sorry if this was unclear.
