I always save photos to draw or paint. This is one of them. I wanted to paint it because I saw a certain... symbolism. And I also like the composition and movement.

I was at the Sydney Contemporary Art fair on the weekend and there was a photography section. One gallery was showing all these amazing classic images of performers from from around the world, but it was this one of John and Yoko that stood out for me. Love this one outside the Dakota building.

I love those photographs of him, they simply have a unique essence that he has been able to capture, some of my favorites, and I also think there are some unpublished ones But thanks for sharing this with us again, love it <3

I remembered about this picture of John and David Bowie from 1977 while they were both in Hong Kong and oh my, it's terrifying. I don't know if it's the fact I can only find it in a such low quality form or if it's the way John is posing.

I've always liked photos of John from 1968 (a very exciting year for him!) as well as his style in 1980, so here are two photos from '68 and '80 (by Ethan Russell and Lilo Raymond). The one from 1980 is special because he's not wearing sunglasses for once.
