These are the 2 that we're mid 70s and i've seen people generally like one over the other, just want to see yalls takes! I love both albums, but currently, mind games probably takes the cake for me. Only People, Freeda People, You are here, such great material. Walls and Bridges does have, Steel and Glass, Nobody Loves you, and #9 dream tho. Both are really neck and neck. Cheers!

Mind games for me, mostly with the ultimate collection! Walls and bridges is beautiful but depressed, "Going down on love", "Whatever gets you thru the night"; "Scared, "Steel and glass", Nobody loves you"...the songs titles say it all, It's like John was nursing a hangover when he wrote it, but since it's John, it came out brilliantly! Still, for "Aisumasen", "Out the blue", "You are here", "Meat city", Tight ass" and the eponymous title track, I prefer Mind games! in the mid 70s ( I was around ) the album covers and packages were far more important than today, and John worked on Walls and bridges packaging quite a lot, less for Mind games. I'm glad the latter was remastered by Sean!

Why not both? 😜

But if I had to choose, Walls & Bridges! One of the first Lennon albums I listens to in full, and it just stuck! It reminds me of autumn in NYC since that’s the time of year I first heard it, so it always brings back the best memories. He really pours his heart out into the lyrics! 🤍

Yes he does, in a way reminiscent of POB, but with sugar coating, the arrangements are lush on Walls and bridges, I love the album, mostly "Bless you" , a song of rare maturity in the Pop/rock business

Bless You is my favorite John's song.

It's also my favourite on Walls and bridges, it's got a nice latin vibe, oddly enough John's acoustic guitar playing often sounds latin, "You are here" comes to mind, and "Mucho mungo"!
Mucho Mungo is my very favorite song to play on acoustic guitar, I love the chord progression.

apples to apples, I have to go with Walls And Bridges. I love all of John's albums, and I enjoy what has been done with the new Mind Games, but Walls is a better album.

I'm exactly the same, I've played Mucho mungo for a few decades! I first had it on a bootleg called Yin Yang, loved the chord progression, and the middle 8, or bridge "Well I could see it in your eyes...", I'm gonna take the old guitar and give it a go!
