A coloured vinyl question

Firstly, I want to say I like the colours of the vinyl, I was just wondering if there was a particular significance.

For the EP, why yellow was chosen as the colour of the text and especially the vinyl.

Also the 2LP set, is there are reason why clear green (dare I say “coke bottle”) was chosen over something like orange which is accented through the campaign?

I think I was wondering the same thing and if I feel it has any special meaning, I would say the green because it has too much connection with John, that's true but I still fell in love with the colors, simply a great contrast and it added a unique touch to this masterpiece

Hahaha you think there’s no reason? On the EP the yellow matches on the vinyl to the text on the cover and the label. The yellow and green are for the Sgt Stripes. On the 2LP the coke bottle green was chosen because it looks beautiful with the cinnebar blood orange, black and white. All good reasons. And the green of course from the military uniform. And because it looks cool.
