What do you do outside of John and Yoko?

John and the Beatles are my absolute favorite hobby and I spend a lot of my time writing and researching about them. But in my "real" life I am a reading specialist. I taught reading to elementary school students for 20 years. For the past year and a half I have been working for a company that coaches reading teachers around the United States. So I travel all around the country, working in schools with teachers to help them become better reading teachers.

I have a lot of other passions and I collect a lot of silly things (such as Strawberry Shortcake dolls).

I study history and I like to watch gameplays online! My favorite singer is Kate Bush but I follow Beyonce more, my second favorite singer, because she is much more active lol.

I work in marketing/social media for a local company! Truly though, I’d love to be doing my content creation full time. If not, at least have a social media job in the entertainment industry! I love talking to musicians and sharing their stories with the world

Sara: Teaching is truly a noble profession! I hope you are enjoying your current position - that is quite an exciting opportunity for traveling! Do you find yourself seeking out Beatles connections when you are in a different city or town? Wherever I go I cannot help searching for "Beatle-y" things nearby, even it is just a mural or Beatles-themed cafe.
In "real life" I am an attorney and Child Advocate. My main hobby is anything related to John, Yoko and the Beatles, but I am also a big fan of other 70s/80s music, SNL, crossword puzzles, standard poodles, Questlove, Anthony Bourdain and Harry Styles. Some times I get hooked on true crime books, especially when they involve trials. I like to think that my interests are pretty diverse, even if I do appear focused on John Lennon most of the time

Coming in a bit late to this, but hi everyone!

I work as a full time Social Media Specialist for a highly successful family owned business right outside of Atlantic City. In addition to that, I do content creation on my own social media pages (follow me @beatledirt!). Before shifting into social media, I worked as a live performer for years! I mostly performed locally at the Jersey Shore and in Philadelphia, and I was lucky enough to have an actual booking agent. I also have some of my original music up on Spotify, under "Mary Devlin". Unfortunately, due to COVID as well as some events in my personal life, I haven't performed since the summer of 2021. But I still make it a point to remain active in my local music scene.

Outside of the Beatles/John & Yoko, I am a huge fan of Studio Ghibli films, I devour books, articles, anything I can find on history (I nearly majored in US History in college but went with Music Business instead!), I often walk on trails through the NJ Pine Barrens, sneak out to shows at Atlantic City's Anchor Rock Club, and travel frequently with my boyfriend. This summer we spent a month trailing around the UK and Greece to visit friends and family.

I'm a producer's and CEO's assistant, I'm a social media manager and I coordinate the teams of two companies. I work with the most renowned neurologists of my country, producing educational courses and content. I'm a graduated teacher, but soon after my autism diagnosis I realized it'd be too complicated to teach everyday, too overwhelming. Nowadays I only teach about John.

I'm not much a fan of anything outside the Beatles universe. I love reading, I love learning, I love writing and listening to music.

Music has a HUGE place in my life, but I also love reading and writing, (also songwriting even though it’s tough). Playing piano has been such an escape for me — especially since I’m a Beatlemaniac.

Outside all of this, I’m still in my studies, I don’t really know what I want to do yet but my dream would be to write and publish a fictional book (not about the Beatles, it’s a dystopia)! I don’t particularly wanna become an author but this is really something I’d love to do. And if my content on Instagram grows, why not working into socials as well

i’m currently a college student studying x-ray technology (cuz big money) and i have lots of hobbies such as drawing, baking, violin, pottery idk if going to the gym counts as a hobby. i have a cat named freddie mercury as well! i like (almost) every genre of music but my personal favorites are r&b and rock. my fav subject in school is human anatomy/physiology or biology. anyways im not sure what else to share

i grew up listening to the beatles and it’s nice to see other fans in 2024 who aren’t my grandmother lol
