John Lennon and Yoko Ono's Bed-Ins in 1969 had a pair of touches of Judaism that added color to an already flamboyant series of events. One happened in Amsterdam, when they met journalist and musician Akiva Nof and even recorded a snippet of a song in Hebrew! The second one happened in Montreal, where the couple met Rabbi Abraham Feinberg, an activist and singer who became part of the choir that sings "Give Peace A Chance".
Two instances that proved that the campaign for peace was not just a gimmick, but a series of events that allowed John & Yoko to explore different world perspectives to keep on their already deep learning process and get in touch with interesting people. This is a new angle on a series of events that may need to be studied in-depth because they still offer, 50 plus years on, new insights not only to the career of one of the greatest musicians of all time, but also on other biographical aspects of his life.
