Have you ever been to places connected to John? It's been one of my favorite activities over the last few years. It's so amazing to feel the atmosphere of these places and be closer to John. The first one was in 2013, that was a school trip to London. Unfortunately, I didn't have time for myslef, and we only visited Madame Tussauds museum where I saw the wax figures of The Beatles. The same year I visited John Lennon Wall in Prague. (I will write more about this wonderful place in the later post. I suppose that not all fans have heard about it.) Four years later my parents bought me a trip to London and Liverpool for my 18th birthday. However, I still wanted to visit Liverpool on John's birthday. And I managed to go there in 2021. Nonetheless, one dream was not yet fulfilled. I had been dreaming of going to New York since 2012. That was quite expensive for me as a young girl and then an university student from Poland. I had been saving money for a while to go there. I planned to visit New York in 2020 but I was forced to put it off because of covid. I finally managed to go there in December 2022. I honored John on the anniversary of his passing. Moreover, this year I travelled to London once again to go to Yoko's exhibition. I went on a Beatles London trip as well, and a few days earlier I visited John Lennon Wall in Prague for the second time.

Visting John places is a special activity I love to do as well. I've been to all of the sites in Liverpool and London and many in New York City and various smaller places such as the Amsterdam Hilton. I have done a few things in L.A. but I want to do more!

When I was there for the first time in 2017, the guide told us that the guest book where you could write something to honor John was sent to Yoko. And she read it! Unfortunately in 2021, there was no book due to Covid. I don't how it works now. Mendips is great! I was also close to tears at the Beatles story while Imagine was played next to the white grand piano. And the greatest thing about Liverpool was the fact that everybody knew there that was John's birthday. One guy even told me that he met John at the Cavern. And that he lent John money to buy a hotdog. Also, another guy showed me where John used to sit when he sang in the choir at the St Peter's church. I sat there and took a photo.

Unfortunately.. Not yet. I live in Brazil and I don't have money to travel. But I have big dreams for the future!

I am lucky that I live in Poland in Europe so it's quite cheap to travel to Liverpool. But it was still 5 years after I started to be interested in John in 2012. For New York, I had to wait 10 years. Hopefully, you will fulfill your dreams soon.

My favourite places are in the garden at Mendips in Liverpool, and at Strawberry Fields in Central Park, NYC!

There is a John Lennon Street in Warsaw where Polish fans meet on the 9th of October and on the 8th of December. It don't think it's added.

I've been to Strawberry Fields many times, my first visit being in April 2009.



I visited Abbey Road in March 2018. I was in London for a short study abroad trip over spring break, and was lucky to be able to stop by. Hoping to go back someday!
