šŸ•Š Remembering John Lennon.

I'm a bit late but never too late to post something here. I'm kinda busy these days so it's hard to organise myself but I'm more or less organised. But that's not the topic of my post or whatever this is called (sorry).
I drew something for George's day and since it's the easiest way to honour anyone and I did the same thing for John. Each year for the past years I do something either for december or october (or both).
This year luckily I knew what I would draw and it's nothing more than a redraw, a glow-up redraw of two older drawings (2021-2022). I have improved A LOT.

I have improved a lot also personally. I try to make efforts and be more confident about a lot of things and it's working a lot. Everyday I feel happy just by thinking of the impact of John in my life. I feel so grateful even if sadly I will never meet him in person but I'm sure I met him a few times other ways. I can relate to him in many ways. It can be just about the food or more deeply like feeling the emotions and thinking. Sometimes I like to remember how it has all started (the happy details) and now how much I grew up since. How now I'm like...myself. My own personally, with my own talents, tastes and everything.
I'd like to thank him to be himself, making us laugh, making us cry, making us surprised...and inspiring us. It's kinda hard nowdays to stay ourselves and fit everywhere, but with some efforts and motivation, things can get better and you can get what you want.

I hope that whatever he's doing, wherever he is, he found the peace and love he always wanted.

Below: the digital version (2024) of my two older drawings (2021-2022), done right on time.

These are so so gorgeous!! I love this vision šŸ¤

Dear John,
half of what I say is meaningless but I say it just to reach you.
You were not only a brilliant musician but also a devoted peace activist. You were ahead of your time. You said what you believed in despite the consequences. The most important thing for you were not what people thought about you but if they understood your message. What also inspires me is your love to Yoko. What a loving hubby you were!
Or you still are. As Yoko said "I just know that he is still hovering around between my head and the sky telling me things!" You will be forever loved.
Now and then, we miss you, John.
Love to Yoko, Sean and Julian on this difficult day. ā¤ļø View attachment 2265View attachment 2266
