That concert really left an impression on me. When I was just a teenager, I found this LP among my uncle’s things. I didn’t know anything about John’s solo career, and that cover blew me away. I only knew John in a suit with his short Beatles hair, that green jacket, sunglasses, guitar, and that amazing band—it drove me crazy and made me curious. The back cover suggested it was a massive concert (and it was), but there was nowhere to play it. For years, the image of that cover stayed in my subconscious. This concert is historic, and seeing it in the theater is like being right there at Madison Square Garden—it’s the fulfillment of teenage Guilherme’s dream. Thank you to everyone who made this happen.
