In December 2013 my family made the trip of the lifetime to visit New York City during the Christmas period and had a great time . Of course being a huge John fan I wanted to visit the landmarks starring with The Dakota it was great to see but during that time the building was covered in scaffolding. I then went to visit the Imagine mosaic which was amazing there was a guy playing ‘Imagine’ on guitar. On a walk through Central Park I came across the bandstand which I recognised from the Mind Games video. During the making of the video there must have been stairs on the side to get on the stage which were gone when I was there so I couldn’t go on the stage and the stage was quite big so I couldn’t have climbed up for a picture so got my picture taken below it instead . I left just a few days of Johns anniversary of his death so I was unable to witness the singalongs I hope you like my pics.
