In the song ‘With a Little Help from My Friends’ do you guys remember the lyric being, “What would you do if I sang out of tune?” Instead of ‘think’?

I’ve always remembered it being ‘do’ instead of ‘think’. Even in some covers I listened to I heard them sing ‘do’. Until I listened to the song a few days ago I realized Ringo sang ‘think’. I searched up the lyrics and I saw it said ‘think’ instead of ‘do’. Am I the only one that thought this? Am I trippin?

¿Estoy alucinando?
I think I've never noticed it before..

I feel like it might be because the next lyric is an action - to “stand up and walk out”. Given that’s something you would ‘do’, rather than ‘think’, maybe that explains the auto-correction that your brain has done with the song 😂

Coming back to this a day later after watching my Ringo concert videos - he indeed sings it live often as “What would you do if I sang out of tune”. Either he wants to change it or doesnt care himself😅

From what I remember, Ringo/Beatle's version is "What Would You Think..." and Joe Cocker's "What Would You Do?" When I saw Ringo in concert in 2000, he was singing that line and he accidentally sang "What would I think if I sang out of tune/would I stand up and walk out on me?" He started laughing -- it was funny! Another time a bunch of people starting walking out of the theater (most likely wanting to beat the traffic) and I yelled out "How rude are you people!" Haha!
