If someone comes to your door claiming to be Police or Federal Agents, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you do the following:
Turn on your video camera and record EVERYTHING!
Ask to see their Police or Federal Identification. (BADGE NUMBER AND FULL NAME).
Ask if they have a Warrant. The warrant must be signed BY A JUDGE!
(The Warrant can be slipped through a mail slot or under the door.)
If they tell you that you are being charged with a crime, ask them what it is.
If it escalates, Demand to see an Attorney and then
IMMEDIATELY INVOKE YOUR FIRST, FOURTH AND FIFTH AMENDMENT RIGHTS.
After that has been invoked, SHUT YOUR MOUTH AND DON'T SAY ANOTHER WORD TO THEM! PERIOD!
If you talk to them after you have invoked your 5th Amendment Rights, you give up that right to remain silent and you will be forced
to answer their questions.
