Favorite John Lennon Music Videos

Out of all the music videos for the Beatles solo efforts I think John has some of the best.

My favorites are for Mind Games, Mother, Give Peace a Chance and Working Class Hero.

Mother and Working Class and Hero I love especially because they do such a good job of telling the story of Lennon through images. Mind Games is just really fun watching Lennon walking around New York being goofy. Give Peace a Chance is also a great live performance of John and Yoko during the bed ins for peace and does a good job of adding to the message of the song and even the context of the time that song was written.

My favorite is Watching The Wheels and the music videos from the 1980 video collection that was the ones John helped create the idea when he was alive. The music video Love, which is also a favorite of mine, uses the footage of the Just Like Starting Over video recording.

The music videos of Working Class Hero and Mother that are your favorites were directed by our talented friend @Good Dog Nigel they are so beautiful and extremely emotional videos

Mind Games forever and ALWAYS! The fact that it's filmed in NYC, the entire look he has going on, the song itself...everything about it has always been so beautiful in my eyes. And it was filmed in celebration!!

@Skylar Moody that to me is such a joyful video. Like you said his look, the song and him going from location to location just having fun surrounded by fans is so glorious. It's also crazy to me that if you lived in 70s New York there was a good chance you could just run into him.

@Starshyne9 I really love the end where Yoko sits next to John. After the song is over they look at each other and the video ends with a freeze frame of them kissing. It's such a sweet little moment that leaves me with such a warm feeling.

My favorite one is Woman, so emotional. And the message at the end "To be continued" is so beautiful.

These music videos are really very beautiful, extremely emotional and representing some of his lyrics, mind games is magical and heavenly, it transmits so much joy and love to me to see John living with His fans while the beautiful melody plays in the background, John's happiness and emotion transmits many feelings to me, his bright spirit, and something curious is that at the beginning when I see John walking behind In hers you can see a girl leading a bunch of dogs by the leash and really that girl is very similar to May Pang and it would make sense to see her there
