Plastic Ono Band is the debut solo studio album by John Lennon. It was released by Apple Records on December 11, 1970, in tandem with the similarly titled album by Yoko Ono.

There is no doubt that it is an extremely important album in their career and that it changed the course of history a lot. It is my second favorite album.

What's your favorite track?
Mine is "Hold On".

“Hold On” simply because it’s John’s reminder to me that I can push through it all. “Working Class Hero” was one of my favorite songs from the start, and one of the first I learned on guitar! I’ll always hold it close to my heart

I adore Isolation (if I remember correctly, Harrison did too - he suggested it should be a single). The whole album works amazingly, I only ever listen to it in one go to make sure I get the full effect. Incredible to think about the timeframe it’s written, performed, and released in.

With Yoko’s album - one of my favourites of hers - there’s so much choice, but I think Why Not wins… although saying that I want to say Why, and Greenfield Morning, and AOS… too much choice!

Plastic Ono Band es el primer álbum de estudio en solitario de John Lennon. Fue lanzado por Apple Records el 11 de diciembre de 1970, al mismo tiempo que el álbum de título similar de Yoko Ono.

No cabe duda de que es un disco importantísimo en su carrera y que cambió mucho el rumbo de la historia. Es mi segundo disco favorito.

¿Cuál es tu canción favorita?
El mío es "Espera".

Hold on is magnificent, a piece of gold, my favorite from that beautiful album, it's a working class hero, so many memories from John, feelings, that song touches my soul, his symphony is unique
