3 Savile Row - Coming in 2027 - please share your pics and memorabilia!

I'm most excited for the studio and the roof! :)

This is going to be a Mecca for fans. Brilliant idea and so cool that Apple has leased the actual original building. It is totally not what I expected Tom Greene the new boss of Apple to do (given his background in building digital content, e-commerce and virtual spaces for fans) but this is exciting.
There’ll be seven floors of museum quality memorabilia, history and memories, plus access to the rooftop!

This is such exciting news! I was both thrilled and disappointed when I received the email about this today. I'm going to London (and Liverpool) this coming August so sadly won't be able to go into 3 Savile Row as it won't be open until next year. But, at least I'll be seeing it from the outside!

This report is attributed to Richard Porter, renowned Beatles fan & London tour guide, from a facebook post.

Apple's full plans for 3 Savile Row have now been submitted to Westminster Council.

It seems that there will be a shop on the ground floor, which will be open to everyone; and a cafe/bar in the basement. This will stay open in evenings after the rest of the attraction has closed. Various 'events' will take place there, 'once or twice a week' with a capacity of 200 people.

There will also be a 'flagship annual event' every January to mark the anniversary of the rooftop concert.

....How exciting is this!...

In April 1995, I vacationed in the UK with my wife, sister & her husband.

Our first morning in London we woke at to the Sunday papers announcing details of the Beatles Anthology project.
We booked a Beatles walking tour with Richard Porter for the next morning.

One of the stops was the old Apple Building, where we had our photo snapped.

Richard Porter has remained active with his Beatles tours, highly recommended!
